Van Buren County -- Road Millage Renewal

VAN BUREN COUNTY ROAD MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL Shall there be a .9769 mill levy ($.97 per $1,000 dollars) of the taxable value on taxable property in Van Buren County, for the next four (4) years (2008-2011), for the purpose of maintenance, repair and reconstruction of all public streets, avenues and roads in Van Buren County? A portion of the revenue collected may be subject to capture by the Local Development Finance Authorities or Downtown Development Authorities as determined by statute. It is estimated that the revenue generated on this proposal will be $2,521,708.00 in the first year of the levy.

Arlington Township -- Road Millage Renewal

ROAD MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSITION Shall the Township of Arlington, Van Buren County, Michigan, renew the two (2.00) mill tax levy ($2.00 on each $1,000) on the taxable value of real and personal property in Arlington Township for a period of four (4) years, commencing December 1, 2008, to be used for Township Road Improvements? It is anticipated that the revenue collected by the Township as a result of this proposal will be approximately $109,752.00 in the first calendar year of the levy.

Bloomingdale Township -- Road Millage Renewal

ROAD MILLAGE RENEWAL Shall the Township of Bloomingdale, Van Buren County, Michigan, renew the four (4.000) mill tax levy ($4.00 on each $1,000.00) on the taxable value of real and personal property in Bloomingdale Township for period of four (4) years (2009-2012), inclusive, for improving, repairing and repaving existing roads and for dust control; and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby raising the first year an estimated $350,784.00?

Columbia Township -- Road Millage Renewal

RENEWAL OF ROAD MILLAGE Shall the limitation on the total amount of taxes which may be assessed on the taxable valuation of real and personal property in Columbia Township, Van Buren County, Michigan, be renewed for 3.00 mil, being $3.00 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation, for a period of four (4) years, commencing with the 2009 tax year for the purpose of road maintenance, improvements, repair, and construction? It is estimated the revenue collected by Columbia Township as result of this proposal will be $238,137 in the first year of the levy.

Decatur Township -- Renewal Road Millage

RENEWAL PROPOSITION FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS AND MAINTENANCE Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution, on General Ad Valorem Property Taxes within Decatur Township, Van Buren County, Michigan be renewed at two mills ($2.00 per $1000.00 of taxable value), for a period of five (5) years commencing in 2009 through 2013 for the purpose of road improvements and maintenance of roads in Decatur Township; and shall the Township levy such renewal millage for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year an estimated sum of $158,007.00?

Porter Township -- Fire Millage Renewal

FIRE PROTECTION MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL Shall the Township of Porter, Van Buren County, Michigan, renew the two (2.00) mill tax levy ($2.00 on each $1,000) on the taxable value of real property in Porter Township for a period of four (4) years, commencing December 1, 2008, to be used for Township Fire Protection? It is anticipated that the revenue collected by the Township as a result of this proposal will be approximately $224,880.00 in the first calendar year of the levy

Waverly Township -- Road Millage Renewal

ROAD MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSITION Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation and levy, as reduced by the required millage rollback which last resulted in a levy of 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) upon taxable real and tangible personal property within said Township, be renewed for levy in the years 2008 through 2012 to be used solely for the bituminous surfacing (black topping) of roads and/or preparing road beds for black topping in the township, which levy will raise in the first year of levy the estimated sum of $124,520.00?
