Tekonsha Township Proposal 1 -- Fire Protection and Emergency Services, RENEWAL at 1.0 Mill

Shall the 1.0 mill voted increase in the limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Tekonsha Township imposed under Article 9, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution approved in November 2000 for levy in 2000-2009 (reduced to 0.9792 mills by the required millage rollbacks) be renewed at and increased to not more than the original voted 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for ten years, 2010 through 2019, inclusive, and shall Tekonsha Township levy such increase in millage on all taxable real and personal property in the Township, including the Village of Tekonsha, for disbursement to Tekonsha Township for the purpose of operating and maintaining fire protection services and related emergency services provided by the Tekonsha Township Fire Department, raising an estimated $45,545.31 in the first year the millage is levied?

Tekonsha Township Proposal 2 -- Fire Protection and Emergency Services, ADDITIONAL 1.0 Mill

Shall the limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Tekonsha Township imposed under Article 9, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased by not more than 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for ten years, 2010 through 2019, inclusive, and shall Tekonsha Township levy such increase in millage on all taxable real and personal property in the Township, including the Village of Tekonsha, for disbursement to Tekonsha Township for the purpose of operating and maintaining fire protection services and related emergency services provided by the Tekonsha Township Fire Department, which 1.0 mill increase and levy will raise an estimated $45,545.31 in the first year the millage is levied?

Litchfield Community Schools Proposal -- Millage Proposal, Building and Site Sinking Fund Tax Levy

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Litchfield Community Schools, Hillsdale, Jackson, Calhoun and Branch Counties, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed .75 mill ($0.75 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 2 years, 2009 and 2010, to create a sinking fund for the construction or repair of school buildings and all other purposes authorized by law; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2009 is approximately $87,000?
