City of Charlotte Headlee Override Proposal -- Increase not to exceed .7087 mills for a period of 3 years, 2012 to 2014 inclusive

Shall the authorized charter millage for the City of Charlotte, established at 15 mills ($15.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and reduced to 14.2913 mills ($14.2913 per $1,000 of taxable value), by the required millage rollbacks, be increased in an amount not to exceed .7087 mills ($.7087 per $1,000 of taxable value) to restore the full amount of the original authorized charter rate for each year for three (3) years, 2012 to 2014, inclusive, for all City and municipal purposes authorized by law; and shall the City levy such new additional millage? The estimate of the revenue the City will collect if the millage is authorized and levied by the City in the 2012 calendar year is approximately $159,800, a portion of which ($2,000) will be disbursed to the Charlotte Downtown Development Authority and a portion ($2,300) which will be disbursed to the Charlotte Local Development Finance Authority.

Charlotte Public Schools Millage Proposal Recreation & Playground -- Increase not to exceed .5 mill for a period of 5 years, 2012 to 2016 inclusive

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Charlotte Public Schools, Eaton County, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed .5 mill ($0.50 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 5 years, 2012 to 2016, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation and playgrounds; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect for such recreation program if the millage is approved and levied in 2012 is approximately $265,000?

Grand Ledge Schools Millage Renewal Proposal Building & Site Sinking Fund Tax Levy -- To be renewed for .80 mill for a period of 10 years, 2012 to 2021 inclusive

Shall the current authorized millage rate of 1.0 mill which may be assessed against all property in Grand Ledge Public Schools, be renewed for .80 mill ($0.80 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 10 years, 2012 to 2021, inclusive, to continue to provide for a sinking fund for the repair or construction of, and the purchase of real estate for, school buildings and all other purposes authorized by law; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2012 is approximately $975,000 (this is a partial renewal of millage which will expire with the 2011 tax levy)?
