Pennfield Charter Township -- Road Repair Millage Proposal

PENNFIELD CHARTER TOWNSHIP ROAD REPAIR MILLAGE PROPOSAL Shall Pennfield Charter Township, Michigan, borrow the principal sum of not to exceed five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds, in one or more series, payable in not to exceed eleven (11) years from the date of issue of each series, for the purpose of paying the cost of maintenance and improvement of county roads in the Township, including necessary rights of way and appurtenances and attachments thereto? If approved, the estimated millage to be levied in 2015 is 2.7292 mills ($ 2.7292 per $1,000 of taxable value) and the estimated simple average annual millage rate required to retire this bond is 2.8211 mills ($2.8211 per $1000 of taxable value).

Sheridan Township -- Road Millage Proposal

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP ROAD MILLAGE PROPOSAL Shall Sheridan Township impose an increase of up to 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for 5 years, 2014 through 2019, inclusive for road construction, improvement and maintenance purposes, which 1 mill increase will raise an estimated $45,730 in the first year the millage is levied?

Tekonsha Township -- Library Millage Proposal

TEKONSHA TOWNSHIP LIBRARY MILLAGE PROPOSAL Shall Tekonsha Township be authorized pursuant to Public Act 164 of 1877, MCL 397.201, et seq to impose an increase of a new additional 1 mil ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) on the taxable value of all property located in Tekonsha Township for ten years beginning with the 2014 tax levy year through the 2023 tax levy year inclusive, for all library purposes to be disbursed solely to the credit of the library fund under the direction of the Tekonsha Township Library Board of Directors, which 1 mill increase will raise an estimated $45,686 in the first year the millage is levied?

Athens Area Schools -- Bonding Proposal

ATHENS AREA SCHOOLS BONDING PROPOSAL Shall Athens Area Schools, Calhoun, Branch, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($625,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor, for the purpose of purchasing and equipping school buses? The following is for informational purposes only: The estimated millage that will be levied for the first series of the proposed bonds is .14 mill ($0.14 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation). The maximum number of years the bonds may be outstanding for all series, exclusive of any refunding, is seven (7) years. The estimated simple average annual millage anticipated to be required to retire this bond debt is .70 mill ($0.70 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation). (Pursuant to State law, expenditure of bond proceeds must be audited, and the proceeds cannot be used for repair or maintenance costs, teacher, administrator or employee salaries, or other operating expenses.)
